Moses has recently acquired and improved his skill of clicking and dragging the mouse on my laptop. We spend a good amount of time at starfall.com and this week he managed to complete one of the matching games all by himself. His face was so excited at each and every successful click.

Bicycle for Me
In true toddler fashion Moses often confuses his pronouns, substituting 'me' for 'you' in his sentences. For example, instead of "Help me" he would say "help you" or instead of asking "rock me?" it would be "rock you?" But the day we went to go pick up his bicycle there was no confusion whatsoever. It was a "Bicycle for me," he declared over and over.
As you can see, he loves to ride his bike in pajamas, or in his underwear, or even with no underwear at all. And we love to wear our helmet just for fun and especially when we're playing with the salad spinner. You never know when that salad spinner will go out of control, you know.

A Slice of Life with Moses
Yes, I could give you some interpretations of this video that only a Mom that speaks Moses could. I could tell you that Moses is conversing with his toothbrush, sometimes comforting it, about how the fearful water sometimes "spreads out" in the bathtub, making a shower that gets into ones eyes, hurting them, or making them "spicy." I could also tell you that he quotes one of his current favourite books. But that would just defeat the purpose of being charmed and sometimes bewildered by this slice of everyday life with Moses.

A case of mommy brain?

Throughout the day or week when I'm planning a snacks and meals for Moses I find it helpful to think in categories. Has he had enough grains, fruit (yes on that one most days!), vegetables (thanks to Juice Plus on this one!), protein sources, etc. Based on my answers I can make an educated decision to round out his diet. Well, my wires must be crossed somehow because when trying to decide on a protein source the other day I honestly and truly thought to myself, "hmmm....we haven't had dinosaur lately."
